Privacy Policy

Effective September 14, 2026

FarmCue is operated by Idaho Web Products LLC ("FarmCue," "we," "us"). This policy explains what information we collect through the FarmCue app and website, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

Who this applies to

FarmCue is used by two kinds of people: farm owners and managers who create and pay for an account, and employees those owners invite onto their farm's account through a private QR code or invite link. If you're an employee using FarmCue, your farm's owner or manager controls the information they add or ask you to submit, and this policy describes how FarmCue itself handles that data on their behalf.

Information we collect

Account information. When you create a FarmCue account, we collect your name, email address, farm or organization name, and a password (stored securely by our authentication provider, Supabase — we never see or store your password in plain text).

Employee information. Farm owners and managers add employees to their account (name, job title, and a language preference). Employees join a farm using a private QR code or invite link and a name they provide — they don't create a separate username or password.

Issue reports. The core of FarmCue is reporting and resolving farm issues. When you or an employee submits a report, we collect the text description, category, priority level, and, if provided, a photo and/or voice recording attached to that report.

Billing information. Payments are processed by Stripe. FarmCue never receives or stores your full card number — Stripe handles that directly. We store a Stripe customer/subscription identifier and your subscription status (for example, active or canceled) so the app knows what plan you're on.

Notification data. If you enable push notifications, we store the technical subscription details your browser provides (an endpoint and encryption keys) so we can deliver alerts to your device. We don't receive any other information from your browser or device through this.

Automatically collected information. Signing in keeps you logged in using a session token stored in your browser's local storage on your own device — this isn't a tracking cookie and isn't shared with anyone else. We don't use advertising trackers or sell any data to advertisers.

How we use this information

We use the information above to operate the app — routing issue reports to the right person, sending alerts, and keeping a farm's history of open and resolved issues; to authenticate you and keep your account secure; to process payments and manage subscriptions; to send you service-related email (such as a password reset) or push notifications you've opted into; to provide customer support when you contact us; to maintain and improve the reliability of the service; and to comply with legal obligations.

We don't use farm or employee data to train third-party AI models, and we don't sell personal information.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers that help us run FarmCue, each of whom is only permitted to use it to provide their part of the service:

We don't share information with anyone else, and we don't sell it.

Farm owners are responsible for their employees' data

If you're a farm owner or manager, you control what information about your employees is added to FarmCue and what your employees are asked to submit (photos or voice recordings of an issue, for example). You're responsible for letting your employees know that their name, reports, and any photos or voice notes they submit will be visible to your farm's management through FarmCue, and for complying with any notice or consent requirements that apply to you under the laws where you operate.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we'll delete or de-identify your farm's data within a reasonable period, except where we need to keep something longer to comply with the law, resolve a dispute, or enforce our agreements. Backups may persist for a limited additional period before they're overwritten in the ordinary course.

Your choices and rights

You can review and correct your account information at any time from your dashboard. To request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and its data, email us at idahowebproducts@gmail.com. If you're an employee and want something about you changed or removed, the fastest path is usually your farm's owner or manager, since they control your employee record — but you're welcome to contact us directly too.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) between your device and our servers, encrypted storage, and access controls that keep each farm's data separated from every other farm's. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information you trust us with.

Children's privacy

FarmCue is a workplace tool for farm operations and isn't directed at, or knowingly used to collect information from, anyone under 18.

Where your data is stored

Our infrastructure runs in the United States. If you're accessing FarmCue from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, let account owners know.
